Our Export Products
Being the most reputed fish exporter in Sri Lanka, we offer a variety of products including Yellowfin Tuna, Sword Fish, Marlin, Sail Fish, over 25 species of reef fish, mollusks and crustaceans. We are able to export these items in different forms as per your requirements e.g. whole form, fillets, loins, steaks, chunks etc. Our products are wrapped (optional) in green/white paper and vacuum packed in (LDPE + Nylon) vacuum bags. We can also offer packaging for retail use. Whole forms are not vacuum packed except for small reef fish, small mollusks and prawns. Whole forms of big fish are exported in corrugated cartons. We can customise our packing to suit your needs and the needs of your buyers. As one of the best seafood exporters in South Asia, we guarantee quality and freshness of our products, every time!.
Our factory is located on the outskirts of Negombo, a beautiful coastal city.
Our highly trained team of expert assessors choose only the best quality seafood for processing. The fresh catch is processed and exported to the buyer within a span of 3 days. Our packaging procedures are of high standards in order to retain and maintain product quality and ensure freshness. We have implemented best in class processing techniques to ensure the highest quality products for our buyers and have established “JAY” as a leading brand in the global seafood markets.
We have the capacity to do 100+ tonnes of processing per month.
Our highly trained selectors grade all tuna in to Sashimi, A and B Grades
Temperature of the fish is monitored throughout the processing chain to ensure that it doesn’t exceed the limits and it is chilled at 0⁰C at the point of dispatch
Each Swordfish undergoes a Mercury test which is conducted at our in-house Laboratory as per EU standards.
We pack the way you want it! All of our products come vacuum packed in LDPE (+ Nylon) vacuum bags and wrapping with green/white paper is optional. We can also offer packaging for retail use

We have the ability to trace both forwards & backwards i.e. track a product/batch through all stages of production, processing and distribution. We ensure that the fish we purchase is caught in accordance with Sustainable and IUU (Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated) regulations.

Our facility is based close to the international airport from where finished products are air freighted to 15+ countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia. We supply supermarket chains across Europe, via our buyers and major distributors and our Company is a leader amongst seafood exporters in Sri Lanka.
CSR : Nelli Plantations
Among Mr. Jayasena’s other areas of interest is that of the medicinal properties of plants and of one in particular: Indian Gooseberry, also known as “Amla” or “nelli” in Sri Lanka. This particular fruit has an unrivalled place in Ayurvedic Medicine. The ancient practitioners of this School of Medicine gave it the name “Amrit Phal” which translates as “the Fruit of Eternal Life”.
Its scientific name is Phyllanthus emblica. It possesses one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C of any fruit and is therefore highly effective in boosting the immune system and cleansing the body of toxins. All Ayurvedic medicine uses it as its base.
Mr. Jayasena discovered that Sri Lanka’s nelli forests had been neglected over time leading to a decline in the quality of the fruit.
He has made it one of his missions to reverse this decline and restore the trees to their former glory. He successfully imported Mother trees from India where the stock remains strong and from these trees has, using the budding method, created over two thousand young trees now planted at a special site in the highland areas of Sri Lanka.
Mr Jayasena endeavours to increase the local and global consumption of the fruit as he has personally seen the countless health benefits that it brings. His aim is to donate trees to small time growers interested in cultivating this vital product, thereby promoting independent farming of this superfruit and a steady restoration of Sri Lanka’s forests of life affirming nelli trees.
In addition to our Nelli cultivation, we have ventured in to growing certain varieties of export crops as interplantation between the isles of Nelli trees.
